I needed somewhere to stay between Kaikoura and Blenheim where I could charge my EV and was so pleased I found this place on the web. Hosts were very welcoming, the continental breakfast was huge and tasty and the room comfortable and spacious. Such a relief as this was at the limit of my Leaf's range heading north... come morning the battery was full and I could carry on. Thanks, Ian 🙂

Great place great hosts always make you feel very welcome

What a fantastic experience had! Not only was everything spot on: cleanliness, comfort and amenities but we had such a warm a friendly welcome. The Store cafe was closed when we arrived so they sorted us out with dinner and we had a great chat with them about our trip and the local area. The location is just off the main road but quiet and beautiful and the scenery is just amazing in this area. We would love to come back again and spend more time and would absolutely recommend this as a very special place to stop over on the Costal Road

Cycling through the South and getting near the end and wanted to try a B&B. We couldn’t have picked better for our first experience. Absolutely loved it and thank you Ian & Lyn for showing us good old Kiwi Hospitality. A+ all the way.

Our second stay here and we have enjoyed it just as much as our first time in Aril 2004. Good luck with your travel and next step. Maybe we see you in Sweden next time.
